The Justice Ayo Salami led Judicial Commission of Inquiry instituted to probe the former Acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu has recommended the outright sack of the suspended former police officer.
The commission which investigated various allegation of corruption against Magu earlier on Friday presented its report to President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.
The various allegations of corruption and misconduct among others were raised by the Attorney General of the Federation, Mr. Abubakar Malami after series of petitions against the former EFCC boss.
In addition to the recommendation for the sack of Magu, the Commission also recommended that the President appoints a new boss for the EFCC from outside the Nigeria Police.
