Obviously as part of his response and strategy to break the ongoing #EndSARS protests across Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday said his government has provided 2,161,000 jobs to Nigerian youth in the last five years in addition to several other programmes his government has created to engage young people in Nigeria.
The President disclosed this through his Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad.
According to a message Ahmad posted on his tweeter handle,”the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal government has continued to implement programmes to empower the youth with training, employment and entrepreneurship.”
Ahmad went ahead to list a series of programmes the government of President Buhari has initiated and executed in the last five plus years including the increment of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) allowances.
